Rimon Dessert Wine (2005)

This unique dessert wine is made exclusively from pomegranates, deep in the fruit orchards of Israel’s Galilee Mountains. This rich and velvety wine showcases the sweet-tart taste of the pomegranate, and releases intoxicating exotic aromas. Rich in vitamins, and with three times more antioxidants than red wine or green tea, the pomegranate is a therapeutic superstar. With its delicate crown and hundreds of plump ruby-red gems, the pomegranate has long symbolized fertility, abundance, hope and royalty, making this the perfect wine to toast with this holiday season.

Winemaker’s Note:
This dessert wine is produced solely from pomegranate fruit grown in the Kerem Ben Zimra fruit orchards in the Upper Galilee, using traditional technology and a new variety of pomegranate picked at optimum maturity. Fermentation of the pomegranate juice is halted early to retain all the wine’s natural sweetness. Ten months of aging in French oak casks, instill the wine with depth, softness and harmony.
Serve slightly chilled at 14-16C.
